What??
This is the official website of The Most Expensive NFT collection, the most expensive, most extensive, and most expansive NFT collection. And if it is not, then it will become so. It cannot be otherwise.

Because it is literally written on each collectible. Is not that reason enough?!

Still there? Really, it is a pretty solid description of the concept. More seriously, this NFT collection is an exceptional piece of conceptual art (by my estimation), the idea of which came from fundamental research of art’s nature. But that is boring...
Anyway, you can jump directly to an extended answer or keep reading to take a brief overview of my investigation :)
Art is a product of man’s creativity, imagination and expression
That is the most common definition of art. Indeed imagination, as the ability to conjure something from nothing, is a crucial part of the art process. But what is this “something”? A thought. This is a thought that arises in mind and, being processed by the artist, is shaped into a certain type of art.
Art is an imaginative way to manifest original thoughts
That is my definition. You might find it quite similar to the one I quoted above, and you would be partially right. My intention was to strip away the excess from the original definition and leave only the essentials.
Time has already done that, though. Looking through highly appreciated postmodern art, one can question the creativity of a fairly large part of the works, perhaps even consider some uncreative. In modern art, we could notice the same tendency with expression, the importance of which is constantly diminishing over time.
And this is neither good nor bad, but a natural progression that we cannot resist. Conservative minds may deem it as a sign of stagnation and even regression, but I beg to differ. On the contrary, I believe we are on the way to the origin. The more we evolve, the more our imagination enriches, and the less we need to perceive the message behind certain art pieces. In essence, we are coming closer to understanding that the only thing that matters is thought.
Yes. And no :) Everything is thought, and thought is everything. Art is instead a thought exploration process. So is science. The distinction between those two is almost imperceptible. Shortly after I completed the final revision of the definition of art, I found that changing just a single word would turn it into a definition of science:
Science is a logical way to manifest original thoughts
Art and science are tied up to such an extent that we could call them a variation of the same. And I find it absolutely fascinating. This finally allows us to equate Einstein and Picasso, Kant and Mozart, Curie and Rodin, and so on. Art is science. Science is art. Both open for us new horizons and inspire us.
In thinking we do not produce thoughts but we apprehend them
This is a quote from “The Thought: A Logical Inquiry” publication by Gottlob Frege, one of the greatest logicians. In this text, he states that thoughts do not belong to the “real” world and exist out of time. For convenience, we may imagine some dimension of thoughts.
Do not get me wrong, I am not trying to promote any anti-scientific theories, it is just a convenient abstraction that makes things easier for understanding.
Assuming the existence of an imaginary space with all the thoughts which have been or will be discovered, we can describe art and science as interfaces to this “world of thoughts”. This means that each artwork could be seen as a bridge that allows the audience to experience this connection and amplify their own imagination.
I doubt that a precise answer to this question has ever existed. Nevertheless, it is hard to miss the rapidly increasing role of the presentation which often serves as an introduction. In my opinion, every work of art is priceless as an original thought is. It belongs to the universe. The way artist presents it to the world and how well he describes the importance of the senses he discovered and invested in his work is what we really measure.
If I were asked to describe The Most Expensive NFT collection in one word, it would be an aspiration. A strong willingness to spread my own vision of art was realized through a bold idea to use a very basic and somewhat provocative for its simplicity claim to be the most expensive. But it is, it has to be.
The Choice of NFT as a form is not accidental too. Being constantly criticized and treated as a joke, the NFT world (in my humble opinion) is in dire need of a fundamental concept where NFTs are valued on par with any other artwork.
Another important side effect I hope to achieve with The Most Expensive NFT is enhancing the diversity of art forms represented in NFT. Being a successful case, it might encourage non-visual artists and/or scientists to share their works in the form of NFT.
Summarizing the above, I strongly believe that The Most Expensive NFT collection will become the most expensive, and more importantly, the most extensive and the most expansive NFT.
